Theme 8: Regolith geoscience and urban Australia
Currently there is little regolith input to the planning of new
developments in urban areas. Regolith geoscience has much to contribute
to a better understanding of how urban centres impact on environmental
problems and how mitigation and remediation strategies can best
be developed. This theme provided regolith-based scientific advice to
urban planners.
