leme minerals exploration seminar
FRIDAY 11 AUGUST 2006
Australian Resources Research Centre
26 Dick Perry Avenue, Kensington (Technology Park, Perth) WA
These technical presentations summarised recently published research by the Centre, including PhD projects and industry-Centre collaborations that have had confidentiality lifted. All presentations are of direct relevance to mineral explorers.
A successful and well attended event, with 100 plus registrants.
You are welcome to contact the speakers directly via email with any enquires on the science.
LEME's role is to apply regolith science to the problems facing Australian mineral explorers. LEME researchers address the challenges of mineral exploration in areas of transported regolith, undertaking and developing a wide range of integrated projects that use multi-disciplinary approaches to look at three-dimensional architecture of the regolith. LEME Projects focus on the time-depending physical, chemical, biological and hydrological processes that control geochemical dispersion of mienrals in the regolith.
Convenor:
RAVI ANAND, Program Leader: Mineral Exploration In Areas Of Cover. CRC LEME, CSIRO Exploration and Mining, PO Box 1130 , Bentley WA 6102 , Tel: 08 6436 8672, Email: ravi.anand@csiro.au
