Theme 4: Regional mineral exploration studies
Integrated regional studies in areas of regolith cover can enhance perceived
mineral prospectivity of geological regions and thereby stimulate
exploration. This requires detailed and regional scale case studies
that characterise regolith, image its 3D distribution and postulate
element mobility in terms of 4D models. Findings of local scale
studies can usefully be extrapolated regionally.
